As a result of several breakages and loss of equipment to Club training boats members who hire out equipment will be charged for replacements where such damage is not due to normal wear and tear.

It is important to report loss or damage to boats and equipment immediately so that repairs and replacements can take place. At this time of the year Club training boats are in constant use and need to be kept in working order.

Any damage to equipment or boats noticed whilst rigging please report to the Bosun before going afloat.

In order to preserve the condition of boats they will not be available to hire in wind conditions above 15 mph.

If this trend continues it may be necessary to introduce a deposit on hiring.

Payment and Boat Hire forms are available from the office and membership and RYA level 2 qualification will be checked. Wetsuits and waterproofs are only available for students on training courses.

BUOYANCY AIDS are available, on request, from the Bosun and must be signed for on receipt and return.  A number of Club buoyancy aids have not been returned.  If you discover one in your sailing kit please hand in to the Bosun
