LEASE RENEWAL.

Many of you know that the club lease will come to an end in March 2010 and that members of the committee have been in discussion with STW for some time in order to try to negotiate a new lease and so secure the future of the Club.

Inevitably much of the debate has been subject to confidentiality because of the need of STW to plan for their future requirements at Draycote Water. Some information is now in the public domain because STW have submitted a planning application to Rugby Borough Council. STW would like to negotiate an early lease renewal in order to bring their plans to fruition. Their goals demand significant change to the Clubs current standing both in terms of land occupation and conditions.

You can be assured that the Committee will continue to negotiate with STW for as long as necessary in order to secure a new lease and to bring about the best possible result for the benefit of the members.
